idaho real estate: Selling your home during the Holidays - 12/04/11 04:50 PM
Yes, you can and let’s just do it! I made my list and I checked it twice: 1. People who look at your home during the holidays are more serious buyers. Most of these buyers who come to your home are not “looky loos.” They are busy as well during this time of year and want to get down to business. 2. The serious buyers have fewer homes to choose from during the holidays and this means less competition for you. 3. Some buyers have more time and more vacations hours saved during this time of year and can concentrate on (2 comments)
idaho real estate: Relocating to Boise Idaho & Beyond… - 10/13/11 02:57 PM
Homesteading, uprooting, voyage, change of address, transplanting, displacement, moving…any verb or noun you choose to describe this specific activity boils down to this: A LOT OF WORK! Isn’t moving one of the major stressors in our lives? With no way around it, transporting yourself and your family from one location to another is one of the most difficult things you'll ever do with feelings of stress built-in from the moment the decision is made. I take great pride and joy in assisting my clients for a move to this awesome location – Boise, Idaho! No, I am not a superhero who (0 comments)

idaho real estate: I really LOVE Boise, Idaho! - 03/16/11 01:49 PM
I was driving down the road the other day, looking at the still snow covered foothills and thinking about how much I love this place. I grew up on the East Coast - Maryland to be exact. So maybe the fact that it's SOOO different is why I love it so much. I've been out here 15 years and each year it only gets better and better. Oh Boise, I do love you - let me count the ways: 1- The weather - I know - that may seem odd to most, but I love the four seasons we have here (1 comments)
idaho real estate: Don't believe it's all Doomsday out there! - 01/21/11 10:07 PM
As I was driving to show a client a home tonight - at 5:30pm on a rainy Friday night - I was thinking to myself how busy it seems - already! And I'm not complaining! But it hit me that all that I seem to hear is how bad it still is 'out there'! It's only 21 days into the New Year and already I have written 2 buyer offers and had them accepted (REO's), I've gotten 3 short sale approvals on offers we have had in for about 2 months, and I've received 2 offers on listings I have. That's (6 comments)
idaho real estate: Home Tending - a great alternative for some Sellers. What do you think? - 09/23/10 12:29 PM
Do you have hometending in our area? We do and I have 2 of my previously vacant short sale listings being cared for by home tenders. The property is cared for, the utilities are on and paid for by the home-tenders and the home tending company goes by WEEKLY to check in and make sure the property is cared for and up to standards for showing. The home tending companies in my area offer a staging service that the home tender pays for. They have even gone so far as having the home tender 'rent' furniture if their own pieces are (6 comments)
