internet: Engaging Internet Leads and Inquiries - 07/09/08 08:48 AM
Engaging Internet leads can be somewhat elusive. With each new lead it is like feeling around in the dark for the light switch. Often consumers have been searching on the Internet and have gone through so many sites that the recall is not there. Contacting (other than automatic responders) soon as crucial. A judgmentneeds to be made rather the particular consumer needs a constant a contact program or occasional hello. Many people began the the search 6 months in advance and are not ready for full engagement. The drip campaigns with short useful information on the home buying and loan process are most

internet: Leads for Kernersville Real Estate - 04/30/08 02:40 PM
Getting Real Estate Internet leads are begining to trickle in. Having your real estate website user friendly is the key to actually capturing the visitors. Real Estate internet leads are like a leading indicator of how the market will be in 3 months. Most visitors are looking for pictures of real estate and information that is related to the homes that are viewed. Converting the visitors to leads then to clients and finally to transactions is the ultimate goal. This has been my three step method to keeping it simple. Follow up is the big key in Real Estate with any source of

internet: What's up with Yahoo emails - 02/28/08 07:21 AM
Has anyone been having trouble with Yahoo emails. I do a large number of email communication and seem to be reinventing the wheel because this Yahoo email glitch. I have written personal emails to all contacts that have yahoo emails through Outlook (rather than TP or intersend). I have not gotten any response. I have had a Yahoo email for some time to test how emails look through this service. The only way I have gotten any response is when I send a message from my ListingBook service. (It is always the same - email still valid.) This has been a

internet: Saving Money and the planet - 02/18/08 08:20 AM
Saving money and saving the planet is the catch word of this year it seems. Going paperless is great as most of us have to many papers and it gets over whelming. I thought I would list things that are benefits and uses for paperless. 1.De-cluttering 2.Email rather than drive to deliver 3.Clarity of documents 4.Placing disclosures online for easy access 5.Professionalism 6.Storage and retrieval 7.Original protection and verification of receipt Hopefully this will give some uses. Any other uses would be most welcome. http://www.realestateworkhorse.com/

internet: PDF contracts to everyone - 02/12/08 03:45 PM
Sending the contracts to everyone in the form of PDF format has gotten a huge fan club. Often the response is how do you do this. Even one fax in the mix makes the clarity and resolution not as clear. This has raised the level of professionalism ( in my opinion ) as well as saved trips and/or explanation of a particular wording that cannot be read from the copied version. Having the PDF saved on the computer also better organizes files for easy retrieval. I also appreciate agents that post disclosures on their website. http://www.bonnertcr.com/

internet: Engaging Internet Inquiries - 02/07/08 07:18 AM
Engaging Internet leads has always been the challenge of this type of propecting. With such a wide variety of tyoes of customers and many diferent levels it is important to prioritize the lead. I have considered survey monkey and other forms of call to action emails. Just because a visitor your site does not give a valid number does not mean that they are a bad lead. No one likes to give information to cyber space. Drip email systems work well if they are well conceived and phone calls are best. I am in the process of trying to make a info

internet: Capture Those Clicks - 02/04/08 02:06 PM
Capture those clicks with a website that will compel visitors to keep coming back or even contact you. The overwhelming majority of visitors are there to view pictures of and get information abouts homes. The auxiliary content should be easily found as visitors search on return visits. Quick response with a follow up call will do more to impress future clients than any other thing ( At least with me and past clients that have bought homes as a click client). Adding your blog is good and should be deeper in your home page. The search for homes feature needs to

internet: On-line Real Estate Prospecting - 01/14/08 09:22 AM
On-line Real Estate prospecting is somewhat of a hybrid in that it may fall between prospecting and marketing. Mainly in the form of emails there should be short informational real estate notes that are of interest to prospective buyers and sellers of real estate. This is great no cost way of staying in front of customers and creating professionalism. This will not replace the traditional real estate business of personal one on one relationship. Real estate customers seem to want non intrusive contact until they are ready to buy. Each situation is as unique and valuable as the the individual customer

internet: Internet lead generation for Real Estate - 12/13/07 04:25 PM
Internet lead generation has been the mainstay of my real estate business for some time. This is the niche that I have become both comfortable with and proficient at. Traditional real estate with exceptional customer service is the action that keeps me in peanut butter and jelly. The web is only a tool to create leads and facilitate communication, but does not replace the personal touch. I have seen many agents that have room for lots of improvement in the knowledge of actual real estate, but an excellent people skill and networks. As time heals this real estate slump and the

internet: Cyber Monday for Real Estate - 11/26/07 08:28 AM
Cyber Monday for Real Estate was in the news this morning. With the internet and online shopping I have found that Mondays are the best days that I get the most real estate leads that are good quality. Any lead should be view as a good lead. After a weekend of discussion, investigation or at least the beginning of the buying process for homes begins. This is the best time to cultivate and create top of the mind for customers. A good follow up system that provides helpful and useful information is a must. Also a phone is the best when
