Renaissance Festival at GVSU ~ Grand Rapids Michigan - 10/17/08 04:08 PM
Grand Valley State University hosts an annual Shakespeare Festival and
included in the month long festivities is the Rennaisance Festival. This is the
only student run Renaissance Festival in the United States.  It was held on
GVSU homecoming weekend right on campus in Allendale, MI.  I talked
'The Big Guy" into going with me and it was a blast!!  The only way it would
 have been more fun is to be a student and dress up for the event. 
 
There were about 50-60 costumed characters roaming around. You could

Fallasburg Arts & Crafts Festival Update ~ A Michigan Fall Festival - 10/13/08 07:50 PM
The Fallasburg Arts & Crafts Festival was just a few weeks ago at the
end of September. I published a post about it and I sure hope you
got an opportunity to attend. It was a gorgeous weekend here in
Western Michigan. We had temperatures in the high 70's and sitting
 in the sun, it felt more like 85 degrees.
I will try to give you a synopsis of the Festival in case you didn't make
it to this premier Arts & Crafts Festival here in Kent County.

This post by Mike in Tucson is very interesting. 
 Isn't this what got us into this real estate mess in the first place. Everyone decided that the stock market was not making money after 9/11 and jumped into real estate with both feet?

Since I am the author of many of TW's blogs, I am reposting this blog here.
We have had a wonderful year here on Active Rain.  Sometimes it has been
stormy, sometimes the sun was shining through, but it has all been an
