Ada Township MI Parks Winter 2011-2012 Activities

Ice Rink at Leonard Field: An outdoor winter ice rink is set up
at Leonard Field and is available as weather allows. It is open to
the public for general use. Children need to be supervised by a guardian.

Cross Country Trails: Cross Country Ski trails are set up at Roselle Park
and available as weather allows. The trails start near the silos and extend
through the north section of the park. Trail maps are set up along the

This is an anniversary party for Roselle Park in Ada Michigan.
It is a great resource for the Grand Rapids area with 247 acres of
prime river property devoted to a natural habitat.

ada mi parks: Ada Michigan ~ Carl Creek Wetlands Preserve ~ Newest Park Addition - 09/25/08 04:20 PM

Ada Michigan has a new park addition. The Carl Creek Wetlands Preserve
is the newest addition to the Ada township park lands. It is protected
by the Land Conservancy of West Michigan as natural habitat for local
wildlife.
This land, 34.02 acres is located south of Forest Glen Residential
Development, M-21 (Fulton St )and north of the railroad tracks. It can
be accessed at Alta Dale Ave. Carl Creek drains into the Grand River and
this wetland area is a prime example of open herbaceous wetlands.
