homes: Setting the Stage for a Sale - 11/30/08 10:45 PM

I recently read an article in The Toronto Sun on November 21, 2008 by Maureen O'Neill, the President of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), a professional association that represents 28,000 realtors in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on the subject of Home Staging. In the article, she encouraged the practice of home staging as it can achieve a faster sale with a potentially higher return. It was noted that one study, in particular, found that staged homes sold for an average of five percent more, and in half the time.
