For those of you who know me - you know how I usually am: MR. OPTIMISM. Vibrant, fun, and postive. BUT... Sometimes it doesn't take a lot. A car cuts me off. I can't find my keys - and I'm in a hurry! I shouldn't have had that doughnut. And a day turns sour. Crappy, grumpy and gray. Bummer day. Yes, even I have them. We all do. Dear fellow Rainers, it's true. Since my early childhood I was destined to become a great real estate agent. I was born with a gift. A great negotiator, I outfoxed my mother and turned a single candy into two-scoop ice cream treat - BEFORE DINNER! I was an expert on collecting commissions for renting my bike - fees paid in marbles, no IOUs, please. My father’s favorite saying was: “De gustibus non est disputandum.” My dad was a smart man. He was ambitious, personable and honest. He would make a good real estate agent. Would he be good with expireds? Or would he consider going after expired listings too tacky? As with most things in real estate (and in life), the answer is - It depends. God, I can't tell you how many times I've heard that 'inspirational' perseverance nonsense from all the ra-ra trainers, motivational snake oil salesmen, and pump-up coaches....
