What is the best social networking site for real estate? - 07/17/08 02:50 PM
I realize it may seem blasphemous posting this poll here at active rain, but... I'm curious which social networking site REALTORS find actually help their business the most.
Don't get me wrong active rain is great for networking, and has a ton of great information, but is there one of these sites listed your business couldn't live without?

Too many photos? - 07/12/08 07:04 AM
Interesting article on Inman News debating if using too many photos can hurt an online listing and cause potential buyers to lose interest.
One thing the article doesn't touch on is the quality of the photos. This would be subjective and hard to quantify in a study. However, I would bet a listing with 15 high quality photos would generate more interest than a listing with 30 lousy cell phone photos...

Just posted another Real Estate Photo Tutorial on Preparing Photos for MLS. Covers some basics that can help make your photos look better on MLS.
Since there are so many software programs out there this was not intended to be a step-by-step tutorial, just covers some of the basics to get you pointed in the right direction. If you need help with a certain program let me know and if there's enough demand I'll try to put something together.
