 This report shows single family sales for the 1st 6 months of 2008. the number of sales is down by 5 from same period last year but the days on market is down significantly from an avg of 146 days last year to 110 days this year, HOMES ARE SELLING QUICKER> The median price is about the same at $420,000.

Grafton MA 6 month market report -single family homes - 07/26/08 09:18 AM
 The grafton market is down by 30% in number of sales from 2007. The avg. days on market is holding steady at 175 days. The avg sale price is down by 10% from $456000 in 07 to $401000 same period in 2008, and median sale price is down from $445000 in 2007 to $339000 in 2007. the median price  indicates the market is more active at the lower price point

This report shows total single family activity for the 1st 6 months of 2008. While the number of homes sold is down compared to the same period of 2007 avg & median sales price seem to be holding and very importantly the number of homes active on the market is down (supply & demand) and days on market is down a little.

Hopkinton MA Concerts on the common - 07/13/08 06:39 PM
This is a scene from a typical hopkinton sunday afternoon. these concerts are sponsored by the parks and rec. dept. and every sunday there is a different style of music. This week its island style from "cocobanana" and everyone young and old brings there lawn chairs and picnics. they also sell burgers, popcorn and home made strawberry shortcake. This is another reason why Hopkinton is a "Great place to live!"
