Job Growth and Other Good News! - 07/05/12 08:02 AM

Preliminary estimates by ADP call for the addition of 176,000 private sector jobs from May to June, more than half of which were in the “small business” (1-49 employees) sector.  The news comes on the heels of a May construction report that shows an increase of 0.9%, the largest in five months.  Single-family trends have now risen in seven of the last eight months.  The news adds credence to Fannie Mae’s prognostication that housing may actually add to GDP by the end of 2012, which contribution is largely driven by the single-family outlook.   In other positive economic news, US oil … (3 comments)
