Founded in 1632, Historic St Luke's Church is the oldest church of English origin in America and is the oldest example of Gothic architecture in America. Located in Smithfield, Va. - Isle of Wight County. The church was originally referred to as the "Old Brick Church" until named St. Luke's Episcopal Church in 1820. hampton roads: New Direct Mail Advertising Campaign-REALTORS advice especially welcome! - 08/28/08 03:28 PM
This week I just sent out several hundred direct mail 4x6 postcards I designed and printed on heavy weight stock. I am trying this marketing approach, after reading both the pro's and con's online, to gauge REALTOR response and decide if I want to continue or move in another direction. What I am really looking for is advice from REALTORS and others if they got this post card in the mail at their Brokerage if it would go immediately in the trash bin or would it generate any interest to visit the website? Below is the front of the card: And

hampton roads: Phoebus Virginia Heron - 08/02/08 05:27 PM
While on a photography excursion to the quaint waterfront section of Hampton, known as Phoebus, I came across and shot a Heron I haven't seen in this area as often as I see the abundant Blue Herons and Great Egrets. The Heron I shot was a Yellow-crowned night heron, below is a juvenile bird: I also shot this adult bird across Mill Creek in a tree: One of the great things about living in the Hampton Roads area is the abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery.
