Colorado Bank Owned Homes: Colorado 8th Best in Nation for Foreclosures and Delinquent Loans - 11/28/11 12:45 PM
Some more good news today for the Colorado housing market and Colorado bank owned homes. The Mortgage Banker's Association reports today that Colorado is ahead of almost all other states in terms of Mortgage foreclosures and delinquencies.
This is in line with all of the other real estate and mortgage data we have been seeing for months. Colorado - and especially the metro Denver area - are ahead of the nation in recovering from the housing decline. In addition, most of the data we're seeing for the area is trending upward.

We had blogged about our Park North Thornton Townhomes back in September. this is a great area near Federal Heights with some very nice and affordable townhomes. If you're in the market for Thornton condos or townhomes, this area should be on your list.
In September, we listed a townhome as a short sale and it went under contract very quickly. We have since received short sale approval for this home at an amazing $73,000! Colorado Bank Owned Homes: Urban Foreclosure Sales at 42-month Low - 11/16/11 03:18 PM
Some more good news today on Colorado Bank Owned homes and the related foreclosure numbers. The Denver Business Journal cited a report from the Colorado Division of Housing showing that new foreclosure filings in Colorado's 12 urban counties fell to a 42 month low.
Our team has been seeing evidence of this for months now. Many of our clients have been forced into bidding wars on many of the bank owned homes we've helped them with. Our agents have been showing a number of clients homes for Sale in Parker and nearby areas in Douglas County. One of the most sought after neighborhoods for these buyers is The Pinery in Parker. Colorado Foreclosures: Filings Fall 27 Percent in 2011 - 11/08/11 03:30 PM
The Colorado Division of Housing released a new report today on Colorado Foreclosures. According to their data, new foreclosure notices in Colorado fell 27 percent from the same period in 2010.
Our team is seeing this data play out as the inventory of Denver foreclosures and Denver HUD homes continues to slowly fall. This decreasing inventory is reducing our clients choices on foreclosures and is drastically increasing the number ofr times our clients are forced into multiple bid situations on foreclosures. Our clients have been involved in more than half a dozen multiple bid situations over the past month.

Highlands Ranch Homes: HRCA Tightens Belt - Avoids Fee Increase - 11/07/11 03:21 PM
Some good news for those of you who live in Highlands Ranch homes or who are looking at Highlands Ranch homes for sale: The Highlands Ranch Community Association has made some budget changes and will not raise their fees for for the next fiscal year.
According to the Denver Post:
The organization will do that by reducing staffing costs, partly through cutting hours at some of its recreational facilities, by, for example, shutting down the facilities on July 4 and reducing the hours for registration and membership on the weekends. Centennial Townhomes: New Hud Listing - 11/05/11 12:05 PM
HUD released a new listing in the Highline Meadows neighborhood. This neighborhood is one of the best values for Centennial Townhomes. These units are very large and the townhome complex surrounds a gorgeous lake and park area. This neighborhood also has a condo area with smaller units just a short walk away from the lake.
