The lenders and companies that hire real estate brokers to do BPOs, or Broker Price Opinions, have very specific requirements. Don't assume from the name that a "Drive By" BPO will involve only a couple of photos from the car and a short form with information about what you saw.

The forms used by lenders and loss mitigation companies vary greatly in how they are laid out and the information they require for a Drive By BPO. However, examination of even the shortest of forms with the least required information reveals a minimum of the following form fields and requirements:

Mortgage BPO. Mortgage companies are increasingly using Real Estate agents to perform Mortgage BPO orders. Majority of mortgage BPO s are drive by bpos. But its becoming very common for agents to do interior Mortgage BPO. They require a little more work but usually agent get paid more.

BPO Real Estate is becoming a booming business. Some agents are incorporating BPO real estate as a big part of their business. BPO real estate can lead to REO's. How to do a bpo? I came across this video of an agent doing an interior broker price opinion. He makes some good observations. I would hate to do this BPO. I hope he was paid more then $100 to do this one. With time its possible to learn how to do bpo s very fast. Enjoy.

Has anybody done Finiti BPO s. I was told they would be ready in November 2007. Still haven't heard anything. Hope Finiti Bpo s will increase soon.

Some companies offer a feature called get work NOW. When a job becomes available an agent can pick it up before an email goes out to hundreds of agents letting them know a job is available. Its not a bad idea to always be logged in and periodically checking for work.
