Never a Dull Day in Real Estate - Home Inspectors - 10/04/10 11:12 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Margaret Woda, Maryland Real Estate & Military Relocation Services (Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., Crofton, MD):

With apologies to all home inspectors everywhere, let me tell you some of the most memorable things I've ever heard at a home inspection.

"Margaret only sells GREAT homes, so I love it when I see her name on an inspection request"  What real estate agent wouldn't recommend a home inspector who always says this … (4 comments)

Have You Found Your Niche In The Real Estate Business.....It's Career Saving !!! - 10/04/10 11:09 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Barbara Todaro (RE/MAX Executive Realty in Franklin, Ma):
Finding your niche in the real estate business is very important.  It's the difference between working with whatever comes your way and focusing on a sector of the business that you enjoy and about which you are knowledgeable.  Finding your niche is career saving for many agents, today.
New construction is my niche, and my team members are now fully involved and working that niche.  It's the sector of … (3 comments)

TITLE INSURANCE STOPPED ON REO AND FORECLOSURE SALES - 10/04/10 11:08 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Richard Zaretsky, Florida Real Estate Attorney (Richard P. Zaretsky P.A. - Bd Certified Real Estate Attorney):
Most of you have been reading about "phony documents" or "fraudulent documents" from lenders in the foreclosure process. Those documents are the affidavits used to obtain a judgment from a court so a foreclosure sale can occur.
I first wrote about this several days ago in GMAC SUSPENDS FORECLOSURE OPERATIONS - JUDGMENTS MAY BE VOIDABLE.
If a material document relied upon … (1 comments)

Via Carla Muss-Jacobs Principal Broker/Owner EBA Portland LLC | www.EBAPortland.com | (Exclusive Buyers' Agent for the Portland Metro Area):
I ORIGINALLY POSTED THIS Sept. 25th.
I have added the graphic at the bottom, for good reason.
The "Fraudulent Foreclosure Factories" which signed off on thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of foreclosure documents are being exposed. Foreclosures were pushed through the courts, and now the deception has surfaced.
OUR COURT SYSTEM is based on SACRED HONOR!  When the banksters try … (0 comments)

Selling Your Home In A Tough Market -- Know The Game And Play By The Rules - 10/04/10 11:07 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Geri Sonkin (RE/MAX Hearthstone):
Sometimes in the world of real estate sales, we have to be cruel to be kind.  The current market can be challenging for all of us, at least on Long Island.  Many of the old rules no longer apply.  For the seller, the sale of their home could be a once in a lifetime experience, or perhaps they've sold a few times in the past, over a period of many years.  In either scenario, their experience is limited.  As … (2 comments)

Via Debra Walsh Orange Cty NY Real Estate 845.928.8000 (Keller Williams Realty Goshen, NY - Realtor):
What pictures and thoughts come to mind when you hear “the wheel of life” or “spinning wheel”?
Are you thinking about how the world is always turning as we move through it?  Or are you thinking more like a coach and picturing the different parts of your life that should balance together to make up the whole?  Or …is the image that … (3 comments)

Do Me A Teensy Weensy Little Favor - 10/04/10 11:05 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via J. Philip Faranda (J. Philip LLC) Westchester County NY:
I still love helping buyers. I don't do it as much as I used to because I am running the company and most buyer requests are given to my very good team of agents who give great service. Our buyers get their own Listingbook account for MLS home searches, automatic email updates when a home that fits their criteria hits the market, and of course many of my … (1 comments)

The importance of GREAT photos in an MLS presentation - 10/04/10 11:05 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via SCA Real Estate:
I recently sold a home located at 36881 Avocado Ct, Winchester CA 92596 in 4 days! It is scheduled to close in less than 2 weeks, and I fully believe the photos taken by my Photographer helped contribute to the home going pending in under a week, with a total of 4 offers received! The craziest thing about this listing was that it was a specialty listing. The home sits on a 3 acre … (1 comments)

Capture Those Internet Leads With Your Personality - 10/04/10 11:04 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Karen Fiddler Broker/Realtor (Great Western Realty Group/eVantage Real Estate):
I have a new buyer I'm working with right now. She's adorable and she came to me via an Internet Lead. Not the submission form, but just registered on the site to search for homes. All I got from this was a name and email address. My first, and only, chance at conversion was to send a good email to draw her in.
Although I do have an … (1 comments)

Why "as is" properties are not selling and why "move in ready" properties ARE selling - 10/04/10 11:03 PM
This is an interesting article I enjoyed reading recently.  I thought I would share it with you.  Hope you enjoy reading this re-blog as well.
Via Lori Cain - Midtown Tulsa Real Estate (Chinowth & Cohen Realtors):
Why "as is" properties are not selling and why "move in ready" properties ARE selling

When preparing your home for sale, you need to evaluate what home buyers have purchased in your neighborhood in order to determine your list price AND to determine what you need to do to prepare your home for sale. If every home sold in the past six months had … (0 comments)
