Getting pre-approved is like getting your license to shop for a home.  You don’t want to waste your time looking at homes that aren’t in your price range.  The pre-approval process should NOT cost you anything.  This process is simply meeting with a lender to let them know what your financial picture is so that they can determine how much money they feel comfortable loaning you.   They’ll take a look at your credit score, … (0 comments)

kansas city real estate: Overland Park Restaurant Review: Trolley's Downtown Bar and Grille - 02/18/08 02:18 AM
New Page 2 Trolley’s Downtown Bar and Grille

I’d driven by Trolley’s on 135th Street many times, so we finally decided to stop in and try it! We went on a Friday evening around 7:00 and the wait was only about 15 minutes. While waiting for a table we went to the massive bar area to grab a drink. There were multiple flat screen TV’s and a large projection TV playing sports. All the chairs at the bar were full, but there wasn’t a crowd of people standing around, so it wasn’t difficult to … (0 comments)

You are able to search for books online, and then place holds on books. This not only ensures you get the book you want, but also features inter-library transfers. So if another branch has the book you want, you don't have to drive all the way across town, they will transfer it to your location of choice.

kansas city real estate: One80 Restaurant Review - Westport - 02/11/08 02:22 AM
Although the restaurant/bar One 80 has been open in Westport for a while, I only recently discovered what a gem it is! We arrived about 7:00 on a Saturday night and there was immediate seating. It was busy, but not overly crowded. The atmosphere is great, a dimly lit restaurant with soft red lighting and large booths. We ordered two martini's off their extensive drink menu and both were great! We got a great surprise when the waitress brought us small glasses with extra drinks in them. She said the bartender accidentally made to much and wanted us to have them! Now that's … (0 comments)

kansas city real estate: Free Wine Tastings In Kansas City - 02/05/08 07:19 AM

CVS Pharmacy (75& Stateline) : I've been to this one and as crazy as it sounds to have a wine tasting at CVS, there is usually quite a crowd packed into the alcohol section with various wines and usually a few appetizers.
Berbiglia : I've been to a couple of these at their Stateline location. Very good selection of wine and usually some beer and alcohol. It's … (0 comments)
