&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;My success&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; in Real Estate depends on relationships. My client relationships can only prosper and grow if I continually improve myself, and the work I do. I recognize however, that success is not measured by sales; commissions, and numbers alone. I measure success by the way in which I achieve my goals. I believe that a commitment to uncompromising values and integrity should always guide my decisions and actions as I pursue my goals. I sell property at the best possible price, given market conditions. I never overprice properties in order to "buy" listings, nor do I represent buyers that are unrealistic about market conditions.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>100,000 Points on A/R, my Broker License and Sales Are Good!</title>

What a year 2010 is shaping up to be and it is only May. I have surpassed the 100,000 point level here on Active Rain, I have gotten my Broker license and sales are great. People ask me all the time how the real estate market is and I have to say it is subjective. What do I mean they ask..... I have Friends in the business who are not having as good of year. I know agents who are waiting tables and working in other jobs to make ends meet. I hear sellers that sound like selling their home will be as painful as a root canal. I am having more fun in real estate than ever before. Why? I refuse to buy into the "Doom and Gloom" on the six o'clock news. I know that everyday there are people who need my help. They have just gotten married, gotten a promotion at work, or maybe they are having a baby and need to upsize their home. These things happen no matter what the economy is at that moment. A real estate transaction like anything in life can be scary and if I can help one person navigate that sea and smile at the end of the journey..... I am successful.That is why I am a REALTOR. That is why I do what I do.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So when people ask me how the real estate market is... I will smile and say "it is Great!". See you at 200,000 points.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My question is this..... has all the technology caused us to lose the true art of real communication. I have become and e-mail junky. It is quick, simple and you have a paper trail. I think I am however gaining a new appreciation for the phone call and yes.... face to face communication. It just has that personal touch. To add to  this, there is a lot more emotion, from your voice, you can convey a lot  of things that e-mail just will not do.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How important is it to find out how our clients prefer to communicate? Do we as agents just assume and use our preferred communication choice?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How important is to actually present offers in person?&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Power of Positive Thinking and Attitude. Its what we need.</title>
      <description>&lt;b&gt; Power of Positive Thinking and Attitude..... A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action and that includes the economy. It&amp;rsquo;s about psychology! Yes, this economy is getting better, and the real estate market is improving, but not as quickly we all would like. But, because confidence is being restored, everything looks better.  
I believe in the power of positive thinking... and negative thinking as well. If your life is not what you want it to be, and you are thinking how bad the situation is will make you believe that there is no way out. Your inability to stop thinking and focusing on your current situation makes it look worse than it really is, stifles creativity and initiative, draws negative thinking and self pity, and increases the chances of making reality much worse. 
If you understand that money isn't the source of your happiness and that happiness comes from the amount of peace, love and joy you have in your life then you can still smile while you figure out how to find new opportunities for success in a changing real estate market. 
The bottom line can be summed up here pretty easily - Smile, tomorrow is a new day full of new opportunities.&lt;/b&gt;</description>

      <title>Real Estate Teams for Property Managagement?</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;There are many blogs regarding Sales Teams and my question is for property managers. How do you create a Team for Property Management? What are the pitfalls? How many properties should you have before you create a team?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I took over our porperty management department a year ago with 40 properties and expanding it to almost 100. It is generating sales leads both from tenants and owners who are looking to add additional untis however the time involved in doing both sales and property management is challenging.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any advice would be appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Car Grahics? Good, Bad, or the Great Cheap Advertising</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;OK folks. There is a great devide here on the Rain about car graphics, magnets and wraps for advertising the real estate professional. I have sold two home off a set of $90 car magnets and when I picked up a spare truck to use for putting up signs and general real estate errands...... I broke down and added some graphics. This is not my primary vehicle and I do beleive it will generate some interest. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So..... give me your thoughts. Too much, not enough or aa bad idea??&lt;/p&gt;

I hit 70,000 points today and thought it was like winning an oscar and I needed to write an acceptance speach:&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial; font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;span class="title"&gt;Brad Snyder's Acceptance Speech for the "70,000 Point" Acheivement:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span class="body"&gt;Thank you! Oh! Thank you! I can hardly believe this! I feel so lucky! And this honor- it's so special! Oh, thank you again! I just want everyone to know that I never thought in my wildest hallucinations that I would reach 70,000 points (yeah I know many people are over 100,000 but don't rain on my parade), I never would have imagined that this could ever happen to me. And to the other super-amazing AR folks who have not reached this milestone, I want each of you to know how totally wonderful your fake smiles makes me feel right now!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;You know when I first realized I topped this milestone, I just had to take a minute and laugh about how great my experiences have been. I guess it all just makes me feel kinda special. ActiveRain has given me an opprtunity to learn, share and grow as a real estate professional.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;You know, there are &lt;em&gt;so&lt;/em&gt; many little people to thank! First off though, I want to thank the World Wide Web for giving me an opportunity to reach outside my little town!       <title>Action. Thoughts and Ideas mean nothing without Action</title>

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Back in my 20's I had grand ideas that I thought could change the world but those ideas never made the leap into action &amp;mdash; and it was probably a good thing they stayed ideas. I&amp;rsquo;ve always been a &amp;ldquo;thinker&amp;rdquo; and it&amp;rsquo;s too bad I didn&amp;rsquo;t have a great mind. When I was in my 30's I began making the transition from thoughts to actions &amp;mdash; or, rather, I began putting my thoughts into action &amp;mdash;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;But becoming is different than thinking about it. My wife taught me a lot about becoming the other. When I thought of leaving a 15 year career to go into real estate, I was terrified of failing and went into my theorizing phase, thinking it to death. She believed in me and said she knew I would succeed and with her support, I made the leap. I was always wondering - How does she make the tough decisions without ever seeming to over think it? She never sits around in an anxious state wondering what actions to take.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Becoming takes commitment. Until you commit and take actions the ideas are still theoretical. One reason a lot of agents in real estate are never successful is that they never become real estate agents, they merely have a license, and real estate is an add-on to hopefully generate a little extra money. Many of them plan to transition into&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;it full-time once they are successful, but they get stuck in a catch-22 where they can&amp;rsquo;t commit until they see success and they can&amp;rsquo;t see success until they commit.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;I couldn&amp;rsquo;t enjoy the joys of being a father until I became a father. I can&amp;rsquo;t reap the benefits of being a friend until I become a friend. We become many things during our life, mother, fathers, professionals, writers, friends, stamp-collectors, etc. but we never get there solely by thinking &amp;mdash; we have to experience in action and become.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The key is commitment and action &amp;mdash; throwing yourself into what you want to become, taking theory, putting it into practice and learning to the end from experience, always prepared to change and grow. Part-time real estate agents will not reap the benefits of the profession until they commit and take action. There is nothing wrong with being a part-time agent, if that is what you choose, but if you want to be a real estate professional, and KNOW real estate, and reap the rewards of the profession, then you&amp;rsquo;ll have to become one.&amp;mdash; the proof is in the commitment and the action, the becoming.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve made the commitment to succeed in real estate &amp;mdash; I&amp;rsquo;m becoming. It&amp;rsquo;s the only way to KNOW, for me. I can listen to the experiences of others and learn some, but I&amp;rsquo;ll never know for myself until I do it. Common sense and reason go a long way, but what I&amp;rsquo;m talking about is much different of course &amp;mdash; people have succeeded at real estate,&amp;mdash; and the only way you or I can is to commit and do it. We&amp;rsquo;ll never KNOW until we do.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
