buying and selling in belair: Back to the Basics - 04/12/11 12:06 PM
It's back to the basics for me. There are some basic tools we learned to use in Real Estate 101 and now is the time to pull out the tool bag. Gotta check my arsenal. While it's true that the times they are a changin', it's also true that the basics of real estate are ever tried and true. Old school real estate transactions are still the way to go. There are a few tweaks here and there, yes- more sophisticated marketing for those listings (virtual tours, QR codes), phones that do everything just short of calling themselves (wait, I think

buying and selling in belair: Seeing is Believing - 03/28/11 02:57 PM
Seeing is Believing Lanette Branch - RE/MAX 1st Advantage Bel Air, MD They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I concur. If I tell you how great my seller's home is, I just might pique your interest to find out more. However, if I show you how great that same home is...well, um...the possibilities are endless. buying and selling in belair: Time is of the Essence. Yes, that means something. - 08/11/10 10:40 PM

We, the real estate agents, are the professionals and, as such, the onus is upon us to keep the real estate transaction running smoothly. Erica uses a calendar system to keep on top of dates and times. I do this as well and I email my buyers their own personlized time-line so that we are partners in the entire process. Here's her take on the Time is of the Essence clause included in the Sales Contract... Via Erica Ramus - Realty Executives / Pottsville

buying and selling in belair: Seller Tip: A Clean Home is a Happy Home and Happy Homes Sell - 08/05/10 12:47 AM
"Life's too short to clean your own home." I remember reading this on a marketing piece for a housecleaning service and it just popped into my head as I recalled a recent experience... "Life's too short to clean your own home." REALLY? Had a showing last night and was not at all amused. Still trying to figure out exactly what happened. First of all, it was only after a week's span of 4 different attempts at appointments that I was able to gain entry into the property. Called the showing service. Declined several times.
