Only 3 Times in 40 Years nationwide has a counties school accreditation been pulled. Well, welcome to my world at this moment. Governor Perdue has removed all the remaining school board members and has the authority to replace them. His words were, "Today can be the beginning of a new

clayton county: Calling All Investors! 42 Tenant Occupied Single Family Residential Homes - 06/21/08 11:01 PM
**Due to the nature of this listing, pictures are not being provided publically** With the amount of foreclosures on the market, rental property has become somewhat of a hot commodity in our area. What else are people going to do that are losing their homes? I have an investor who is selling off part of his portfolio. I have sold several of his multi-family properties and now have a package deal on 42 homes. These homes are not being sold as pre-foreclosure homes. The investor is simply changing markets. These are all located in the Forest Park, Georgia area. They are

clayton county: Thank You Active Rain: Why we do what we do....I do it for my Sellers! - 06/21/08 09:11 PM
We all have hot buttons and reasons that we do what we do. I am sure we are hoping to make a living selling Real Estate, but what is your focus? Is it the commission check? Is it the satisfaction of having a closing? For me, it is simply to do the best job I can for my sellers. I tend to get very emotionally attached to my sellers property. I think this is one of the reasons I am able market them the way I do. A few months ago, I shared a story wtih you, A Client's love story....A $19,000

clayton county: Clayton County Homeowners: Calm Down, There are Options! - 04/25/08 11:25 PM
Homeowners..YOU HAVE OPTIONS. Now that I HOPEFULLY have your attention, please let me explain a few things about what Clayton County, Ga is facing besides a bad market. You guessed it, the fact that Clayton County is facing losing their Accredidation. The school system has been a struggle for many years. However, you MUST understand that it is NOT the education that the students are getting. It all boils down to the mis-management of the school board. I heard today the UGA announced that as long as the students grades were good, even if accredidation was lost, they would accept Clayton County students. There are

clayton county: Real Estate Market Report: February & March, 2008 - 04/09/08 08:55 PM
Real Estate Market Report: February & March, 2008 We missed last month in posting our market update. Although the market is slow overall, we have been as busy as beavers trying to keep up with all we have going on. March & April single family sale prices are mixed The residential marketplace for Clayton and Henry counties continued its decline in February and March of 2008. This was expected, especially in Clayton County with the school system staying in the news. Fayette County saw a significant increase in March, but this was probably due to one or a few very high priced homes selling. We

This story is a result of an expired listing. They had their home listed with two other agents who did nothing except a sign in the yard and MLS. How do I know this? I have spoken with those agents about the house and neither one is no longer in the business, its a tough place to be right now. If you have not read the article that I posted about the Super-Adequacy Dilemma, please do before you continue. It will help you to really understand the situation here. The love story is at the end, so please hang in there. This home looks

clayton county: Sellers: Understanding The Super-Adequacy Dilemma - 03/01/08 10:13 AM
Sellers: Understanding The Super-Adequacy Dilemma We are often faced with the dilemma of trying to explain to a homeowner just why some outstanding feature(s) of their home adds little or nothing to value. In worse cases, we have to explain why that feature may hurt the value of a home. It is the simple fact they are outstanding which creates the problem. Outstanding Features Do Not Always Mean Outstanding Returns. Everything migrates towards the mean. In simple terms, this means that if your home is surrounded by higher value houses the value of your home is pulled upwards simply by the presence of
