Who Is Obama's President?

I listened to the debate last night and Lehrur asked the two candidates this question: "Are you -- are you willing to acknowledge both of you that this financial crisis is going to affect the way you rule the country as president of the United States beyond the kinds of things that you have already -- I mean, is it a major move? Is it going to have a major affect?

OBAMA answered this way and I quote: "I just want to make this point, Jim. John, it's been YOUR PRESIDENT who you said you agreed with 90 percent of the time who presided over this increase in spending. This orgy of spending and enormous deficits you voted for almost all of his budgets. So to stand here and after eight years and say that you're going to lead on controlling spending and, you know, balancing our tax cuts so that they help middle class families when over the last eight years that hasn't happened I think just is, you know, kind of hard to swallow."

In good times, in bad times, whether I voted for or against whichever President was in office at the time they were still MY PRESIDENT. Afterall, this is OUR COUNTRY and our citizens should unite behind whoever OUR PRESIDENT is. I have never heard a Republican say the words "YOUR PRESIDENT" but I hear Democrats say for example "Bush is not my President" all the time.

Will our Country ever be united again the way it use to be in the good old days when the Constitution was still revered? A country divided cannot stand. Right now, the way I see it not only are Republicans and Democrats divided but our leaders in Washington are divided from the people and from each other.

How does Obama propose to unite our country if he doesn't even acknowledge that the current President is HIS PRESIDENT!

So my question is this: Who actually is Obama's current President?

Hero? Remembering Chappaquiddick Island

The year was 1969 for those who were too young to remember. No hero would walk away from an accident leaving a girl, Mary Jo Kopechne, to drown and then try cover it all up to protect his political career instead of sending some help to try to rescue her. He was driving the car when it went over the bridge and plunged into the water. He swam to safety and left the passenger he had in the car he was driving to drown for those who do not know the story. Watching this man stand before all those people and accept all that honor and glory as a hero made me sick to my stomach. I hope most of the tears I saw in the eyes of the attendees at the DNC were for Mary Jo Kopechne and not for Ted Kennedy because he's no hero in my book.

Idiot Quote Of The Day

I just had to share the Idiot Quote of the day. This just says it all:

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.

I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."

- Barack Obama

Robin William's Logic On Peace

?
Robin Williams, wearing a shirt that says 'I love New York ' in Arabic.

You gotta love Robin Williams......Even if he's nuts! Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan. What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message.

Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to argue with this logic!)

'I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan.'

1) 'The US will apologize to the world for our 'interference' in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good 'ole' boys', we will never 'interfere' again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign 'students' over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a 'D' and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not 'interfere.' They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us 'Ugly Americans' any longer.

11) The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

'12) The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?' '

Jessie Jackson Should Resign From The RPC

The same Jessie Jackson that blasted Don Imus for using politically incorrect words has now proven to the world that he does not practice what he preaches. Does Don Imus get a free pass now? Does Bill Burress get a free pass as well?

Jessie Jackson, president and founder of the Rainbow Push Coalition an organization that promotes social justice, civil rights and political activism appears to be getting a free pass on his recent inappropriate comments. Where is the outrage from his followers? Don Imus lost his job and Jessie Jackson should lose his job as well.

It appears that free speech is for some but not for all.

Americo! Coming Soon!

Listen to Obama without his teleprompter telling us we need to learn to speak Spanish instead of worrying about illegals learning to speak English. How dare him! Someone needs to advise Obama that he needs to worry about stopping the invasion of our Great County, solving fuel, housing, and employment problems rather than telling Americans they need to learn Spanish.

545 People And American's Woe's

THE 545 PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF AMERICA'S WOES

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code. Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy. Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 235 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a group of mostly foreign banking families. These few powerful families have no allegiance to any country, only to their own greed.
I excluded all but the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it.

No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislation's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Don't you see how the con game that is played on the people by the politicians? Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating appropriations and taxes.

Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto - if they agree to do it.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility.

I can't think of a single domestic problem, from an unfair tax code to defense overruns, that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.

When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take it.

Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exist disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation" or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people and they alone are responsible. They and they alone have the power. They and they alone should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided they have the gumption to manage their own employees.

(original article was written by Charley Reese and appeared in the Orlando Sentinel)
