photography: Wordless Wednesday: Snow drops - 03/10/10 09:43 PM
All Rights Reserved. Snow drops photographed a couple of years ago in early spring when the flowers were just beginning to bloom for the year. These particular snow drops come from bulbs in our front yard flower bed in Monroe Wisconsin. With the warm weather this week, I won't be surprised to see some popping up very soon!

photography: Wordless Wednesday: A Wisconsin Winter - 01/06/10 03:17 PM
I photographed this snow covered tree very late at night on one quiet February evening in 2008 during a Wisconsin winter snowstorm from my front porch as I saw watching the snowflakes fall by the light of the street lamps here in Cheese Country (aka Green County, Wisconsin). All Rights Reserved.

photography: Thankful Thursday - Patience bears fruit - 06/04/09 10:57 AM
We planted two dwarf pear trees a few years ago. I know the old saying about full sized pear trees "Grow pears for your heirs." This is why we went with dwarf trees. The cherry tree we planted the same year has born fruit three years now, but the pears have never had anything. This year, though, one tree is covered with tiny fruit and the other has a smattering of developing pears too. Exciting! I'm looking forward to making pear butter and pear crisp this fall.

Some Realtors may claim "Oh, not around here". They are wrong. I have heard that claim from Realtors in our community, yet I have
