I love working with first time buyers! I wish more first time buyers were out there taking advantage of all the great progams available to them - in additin to the tax credit. The credit will be going away at the end of April, but don't let that stop or slow down your buyers. The Washington state bond program is a huge help for first time buyers because it not only assists with downpayment or closing costs, it requires educatin about the process so the buyer is more fully prepared for the process - financing, credit issues, buying process, other costs of home ownership, and more. And depending on where the buyer lives or is buying, there may be other programs available to help.
