The Ellis Team SW Florida real estate State of the Market Report was released this past week, and in it were some startling observations.  Two areas of the county, Central Fort Myers and Bonita Springs - Estero saw average price increases in 2008.

The March Current Market Index for SW Florida was just released and it shows buyers are back in the game, for a couple of reasons.  The first is buyers have gottem the message since January that prices are good and aaffordable, and they've responded.  Secondly, bank owned foreclosures are hitting the market as many of the short sales just didn't pan out, and buyers are getting some great deals on homes, up to 75% off from market highs.
