pierce county: Pierce County Foreclosure | Bank Owned - 01/26/09 12:16 PM
I have no illusions that banks or investors will heed my advice, but I've got to get this off my chest. The financial institutions are in a tough spot with the rising number of foreclosures and REO's they are burdened with, I understand that. What I do not understand is their lack of business sense used to deal with this problem. The solution seems to collect as much TARP money as possible in hopes of buying up weaker competitors while not addressing the issue at hand. So Mr. or Mrs. Fat cat Banker, since I am now footing the bill for

pierce county: Winter arrives in Pierce County Washington - 12/20/08 05:38 PM
Here's a shot out my office window today! We've had beautiful season changes here in Pierce County this year. The Fall colors were spectacular and it looks like this Winter will be even better. This is a shot down my road today. It's compact snow and ice the whole way out of the neighborhood. Except for the occasional kid on a quad, it's been real quiet around the house the past few days. Here's my favorite pic of the snow so far. That snow man is about 6 1/2 feet tall and I nearly busted my back lifting the body section

pierce county: Even the bears are out looking for new homes. - 07/01/08 11:02 AM
The recent Buyer's market and low interest rates have spurred a lot of interest lately in the local housing market. I'm seeing more traffic at open houses, builder's sites and calls are way up lately. Most of this activity is good to see, it shows that many buyers are shaking off the analysis paralysis fostered by the news media. This time of year many juvenile bears are out wandering in search of a new

pierce county: So your RealtorĀ® wants you to work with his/her preferred lender? - 07/30/06 03:38 AM
I've been asked this question before, "Why should I work with the lender you have recommended?" Here's the long answer: I have developed relationships with lenders over time that I know will treat you with the respect you deserve. I only recommend lenders that I have determined will give you a fair deal on your loan, communicate with me throughout the home buying process, and close transactions on time. You see there is a great deal more to a good lender than APR and Loan origination fees! From the outside looking in, a Realtor's job seems fairly easy, and I want my clients

pierce county: July 4th started off with a BOOM! - 07/06/06 12:16 PM
Dateline: Graham Washington, 3:04 am. I happened to be awake, couldn't sleep for some reason. I opened my window to listen to the frogs chirp away in the pasture, and got back in bed. Suddenly a huge explosion rattled the house, I leap up out of bed and looked out the window expecting to see a mushroom cloud, or meteor impact crater in my back pasture. As my mind raced through the possibilities i quickly dismissed Thunder (Way too Loud for that), Earthquake (Noise was right but the house wasn't shaking enough), North Korea? (No their missile malfunctioned), Hot Shot Fighter
