Nine of these residential luxury homes sold in Denver and the rest in cities and suburbs surrounding Denver. 73% of the luxury homes sold from one million to two million dollars. The highest sold price was $3,900,000 for a home in Cherry Hills Village.
There are 192 luxury homes for sale in Denver - as of Dec 18th, 2009. The listing prices start from one million dollars up to $6,999,750.

Pending Home Sales in DenverResidential homes under contract -i.e. pending home sales in Denver as of Nov. 1st 2009.There are 1340 houses under contract in Denver. 3186 houses are on the market. A large group of pending sales are in the prices under $250,000. Below is the breakdown
Under $70,000 all but four houses are either lender owned /HUD homes (45) or Short Sales (16). Between $70,000 and $100,000 out of 215 houses 77 are lender/HUD homes and 68 are listed as Short Sales. Denver Home Sales in 2009 (starting at $500,000)Denver home sales in the higher price ranges have been sluggish at times especially since last year this time. Below is a look of some numbers for 2009. In June and July the home sales picked up which is typical seasonal fluctuations in Denver area. The last two months the sales dropped almost 50% from the previous two months. In September 55 homes sold.
