web metrics: How do you measure web traffic? - 05/12/08 01:10 PM
Hello everyone, I've been talking to a lot of people lately about "traffic" and everyone seems to have a different answer for what it is and how to measure it. Is it Unique Users, Site Visits, Page Visits? It it measured by time on site or pages per user? I still don't know what the majority of agents are using to chart their traffic, but I thought I would share some of the resources I've found to be the most helpful. 1) Alexa.com - This site is owned by Amazon and is a recognized leader in traffic rankings.
