BANKS AND SHORT SALES - 07/13/10 12:13 AM

Some things have improved since:
Put a house on market last year short sale. Got an acceptable offer near asking and market. Bank wanted 15% more. Buyer said goodbye and seller said deed-in-lieau after withdrawn.
Bank decided to try again and told us to price it near last offer. We got one. Appraissal came in 10% less due to market. Bank took so much time in acceptance that buyer no longer qualified. Just closed same house for 10% less than bank would have received last year.
And we gave these banks how much?$? … (2 comments)
