I'm sure many of you have numerous stories to tell about various experiences in real estate. I know I do. Some are more unbelievable than others. The one I am about to tell you is a memorable one.
I was working with a cash Buyer searching for a horse property for herself, significant other, son & daughter-in-law. Her fiancee was in another state and therefore, he trusted her judgment to find a property that would work for them.

First impressions are so important, especially in selling a home and horse property. The absolute first impression are the photos of the house, buildings and property. This is what first attracts the buyers to look further into it or not.
Then, the buyers will either do a drive-by to see if the property and neighborhood really does suit their needs. If the buyers are from out of the area, an appointment will be scheduled to see it instead. This first impression makes a huge difference as to whether or not the buyer will continue looking at the property.

Do Photos Really Sell the Property??
The answer to that question is "yes".
I usually take numerous photos of the property and home. All from different angles. I just "click away", you might say. When I download the photos to my computer, I will then pick out the best ones and use those to market the property.
A camera would be best to use to take the photos of the property. I have seen blurry photos of the property and home where you can tell that it was taken with a cell phone. Granted, the cell phone cameras have … (18 comments)

Wow!! This performance is hilarious! It was performed in Germany. When I first clicked on the video, I really thought it was a lion. The miniature horse is the right color for a lion and include the costume on the mini, it makes it look so real. It's amazing what you can teach horses to do.

Here is my granddaughter at 9 months of age. She is not quite walking, yet, but she is getting up on her 2 feet and standing rather well. (She crawls around quite well at this point.) She is getting into a lot of things now, so it is necessary to start babyproofing everything, including putting up gates. I'm sure eventually she'll figure out how to get out of there.

Here it is the beginning of February and the Ground Hog predicted another 6 weeks of winter. You are itching for spring so that you can begin riding your horse again.
While waiting for spring, this would be a great time to go through all of your horse stuff and tack that you have collected and sort through it. Take inventory and see what you have too many of and what items you actually do need for your horse or you.
