Calling All REO Agents - How has your volume been the past 2 week? - 02/19/10 11:02 AM
New orders have been slow for me in my area. Post a comment on new REO assignments in your town. Do you think they will increase, decrease, stay the same? What about short sales - do you think we will see an uptick in short sale approvals versus REO properties? (3 comments)
Short Sale Designations Harris Unversity designation or the CDPE designation - 02/12/10 11:18 AM
I am debating between which program to join - http://www.cdpe.com/what-is-a-cdpe.html or http://www.harrisrealestateuniversity.com/ I have to say that I have been listening to the free Friday conference training calls for about 6 months with Harris Real Estate University and have learned a great deal of real time information from their site. So, for anyone in either program, can you give me your opinion? Thanks (1 comments)
Received A Proactive Short Sale Listing From Wachovia.. problem is we cant find seller - 02/11/10 09:29 PM
Was very surprised to receive a Wachovia assignment where they asked me to reach out to a borrower to list their home for a preapproved short sale. They even have a cash incentive for the seller. The problem is that the bank isnt having any luck locating them nor am I. I think they made their offer for a short sale too late in the process. However, I am excited and hope more banks consider this route early on with borrowers. (3 comments)

Obstacles - 02/03/10 08:49 PM
I was listening to a training call today and loved the anology the gal used about obstacles in our lives and businesses. Everyone in life has obstacles of course. We all know it is how you deal with them that affects your life. Here is the analogy she used: A school had some construction work going on in the parking lot where parents drove in to pick up their children. The school put up orange cones that blocked access for cars to get up to the school. Here is how people dealt with the "cones" - The first person came up (6 comments)
