Marketing Your Blog: Get Your Own .BLOG Domain Name

Just a quick note to check out Blog Dot Blog at http://www.blogdotblog.com/.

Blog Dot Blog lets bloggers on ActiveRain and elsewhere register a .blog domain name to repoint to their existing Web site.

For example, instead of typing http://activerain.com/blogs/yourblogname into a browser, your readers can type yourblogname.blog

Easy-to-remember URLs like yourblogname.blog are powerful.

There is a verification process to prevent squatters, but you should probably get registered as soon as possible. Go to http://www.blogdotblog.com. The cost is $10 per year, or $90 forever.
