We hear and use the word "farm" quite a bit in this business, but very few agents actually put the word into practice.
If you're really a farmer, there are several things you need to do in order to survive.
Let's say that you plan on growing a crop.  First off you need to determine what crop will bring in the best return at harvest.  No sense planting corn if everyone else is planting corn.
After you decide what crop to plant, then you need to prepare your land.  You need to till and cultivate the soil.

After a very grueling past couple of years in "the business", and with no clear vision of when things will actually become some what normal, my wife and I took an extended 4th of July holiday and spent it with family on our Anderson Island property.
This photo of Snuggles and Charlie on the island makes me realize once again that there's much more to life then real estate.
