As I'm sure you've all noticed, there are a lot of foreclosure or pre-foreclosure/short-sale homes on the market right now. That's not a good thing if you are a Seller trying to market a non-foreclosure property, because it may act to decrease the value of your home. If you've owned the home a while and have equity, you may still be able to sell without being upside-down on your mortgage.
