Pumpkin Sculptures By Artist Ray Villafane These were emailed to me (although many more pictures are available online), and I can't believe the level of detail in the pumpkin sculptures!  And, some of them only took a couple of hours to carve!  It takes me a couple of hours just to gut a pumpkin and do a couple of triangles!

I was lucky enough to spend some time at the Pensacola Extreme Home Makeover/Earth Cents build site this morning, first as a viewer and then as a volunteer.  For those of you who would like to do the same, here's the scoop:

Since today is Day 1 of my Geothermal Installation, I thought it would be good to share information on the local Gulf Power Geothermal rebate incentives for others who may be considering installing a geothermal system.  The local rebate is based on the number of 'tons' you install in your home.  It is a $400 per ton rebate, and the system must meet the following criteria:

This blog by Sally Weatherley serves as a reminder that there are healthier ways of cleaning that don't involve the use of odory, chemical laden cleaning products.  My personal favorite cleaning products are baking soda and vinegar- I use them on just about everything.  But, there are many store bought options available these days- just beware of GreenWashing!

Somebody call for help- there's a vase in my space!  In fact, there are 16 vases in my...spaces?  How did they get there? I don't know, but I'd be willing to guess it has something to do with my love of garage sales.  Pensacola has fabulous garage sales, and my family and I love to wander around on Saturday mornings, visiting our favorite garage sale neighborhoods until we find the next ‘treasure'.
