The Pensacola Association of Realtors has released recent sales data that shows the local market on a steady recovery.  Distressed home inventories are down from 18% of total inventory in February 2011, to 15% in February 2013.  Although that may not seem like much of a decrease, you have to also understand that total inventories (distressed and non-distressed) are down from almost 6543 residential homes in 2008, to only 3019 in February 2013- that's a pretty steep decline in inventory.  Fewer homes on the market means more competition for buyers trying to get a 'deal', which makes prices go higher.  Of … (1 comments)
