So I have been in the market for a new car.  I have been trying to figure out what I want by going to different dealers and testing out cars that I like.  What I discovered has changed my ways of thinking forever.

When I was new to the real estate business I of course made mistakes.  Everyone does.  Although I often make little mistakes, nothing compares to this major one I was making over and over again.

First of all what is marketing?  Marketing is an element of sales.  When you learn how to effectively market you will never have to make another sales call again.  Why?  Because you will be too busy handling the business that you are getting from your marketing.
Just think how nice that would be!  No more worrying about next months business, how you are going to pay your bills, what you are going to do, or stressing about finding business.  Business comes to you.

I think that we can all learn a lesson or two from Gene Simmons.  I loved how on the apprentice last night he never backed down from what he believed in.
I love how he has the "who cares" attitude about pleasing everyone and how he says whatever he feels like saying.  He stuck to what he believed to be correct in his marketing ideas.  He wouldn't let the Kodak executives corrupt his vision of what he believed in.
