I just want to make sure that each of you check your credit periodically! In this day and age of identity theft, on top of human error it is important to check frequently! I had no idea those things were on mine and as time passed they were rapidly eating away at my score! The worst thing is that they are not my transactions! Never thought I would be one suffering from

We all do it! Write up a this really great sales letter to send out to our leads or cold mailing! And we all have the same question. How do I improve the response to my direct mail? There are so many ways to improve response and most of them you already know! Improve the copy, improve the call to action, offer something with no risk, personalize the message, improve the mailing list, and sequenced mailing! What the heck is sequenced mailing your asking? How do homebuyers choose their Mortgage Lender? - 08/08/06 03:47 PM
How do home buyers choose their Mortgage Lender? Interesting question. And the answer will surprise you! But before I give you the answer, what do you think the main reason people choose a mortgage lender? Come on, think a little! My top three reasons are lowest rate/fees, referred, and advertising! What are your top three? In April 2003, The national Association of Realtors mailed out an eight-page questionnaire to 35,000 recent home buyers. The survey resulted in 2,703 usable responses with an adjusted response rate of 7.7 percent. Customers names and addresses were obtained from Experian, a firm that

Don't over whelm your clients with to many options! - 08/08/06 03:02 PM
Well all like to offer our clients 100's of different loans, which is great! How ever the more you offer them and the more overwhelmed they become the more likely they will do nothing! You are the professional, so be that and guide them! Listen to what they want and utilize it to give it to them! Take the information that you got from them and you find the best loans for them! That way you can then offer them three loans to choose from but they still utilized your 100 loan options! It will also help you grow stronger

Mortage Leads - 08/07/06 01:56 PM
Join an association. People join associations for three reasons: 1-social, they want to build or maintain friendships and influence that may have taken years to build. 2-Promotional, they want to offer their own products or services to others in a cost effective and positive way. 3-Educational, they want to see what their competition is up to, and find out about the latest developments within their industry. Grown your network and your database by joining groups of already established people. By socializing with people who have something in common with, it makes it easier to generate business. People like to do

Sales might be leveling out! - 08/07/06 01:12 PM
The opinion stated in this blog is based on the opinions of the National Association of Realtors. A leading indicator of existing-home sales edged up 0.4% in June, and it could be a sign that sales are leveling off after a 10% decline since last summer. The NAR's pending sales index rose from 113.5 in May to 113.9 in June. It was the second consecutive monthly increase in the index, which is off 9.6% from the level recorded in June 2005. NAR cheif economist David Lereah said that sales are stabilizing or leveling off. He also said the index adn other
