These days Reverse Mortgages are becoming more popular as the population is becoming older and there a lot more people over 62 as baby boomers begin to retire. In the next 20 years over 70 million baby boomers are going to be retiring which will make these mortgages more popular. Unlike a traditional mortgage no repayment is required until the borrower no longer uses the home as their principal residence. The requirement is that you are a homeowner of at least 62 years of age own your home outright or have a low mortgage balance that can be paid off at (0 comments)
January Home Sales For Montrose Colorado - 02/06/09 10:49 AM
Here are the stats on the few homes that did sell during January 2009 as compared to January 2008. Year Number Sold Avg Sales Price Days on Mkt 2008 23 $221,952 150 2009 12 $227,191 208 As you can see the number sold dropped in half and the days on the market increased but the average sales price increased a little. Wells Fargo...Las Vegas Trip A Win/Wynn? - 02/04/09 09:34 AM
So Wells Fargo cancelled their Sales conference trip to the Wynn in Las Vegas under media scrutiny. I for one am concerned that they did that and that they were not more vocal in defending the trip. I believe they should have kept it in place. I hear many of you saying absolutely not, they shouldn't be allowed to use bailout money for such things. I disagree. This wasn't some getaway for top executives, this was a sales conference for their top 100 or so Mortgage Consultants who have generated millions of dollars of income for the company in the (0 comments)
