ICE - In Case of Emergency. Recently there have been a number of posts reminding us to be vigilant when dealing with strangers - something inherent in our business. The suggestions in them have been on target and I hope all are informing others of their itineraries. Unfortunately, no matter how much we plan, the unexpected still happens. Whether on the job or just going to the grocery store, the unthinkable can happen. I will be hosting an Open House at 370 Delaware Drive, Brick, NJ 08723 this Sunday, June 27th from 1-4pm. This is a great ranch home in a desired neighborhood in the Southern part of Brick, NJ. It is close to lots of shopping opportunities, highly rated schools, Garden State Parkway, river and ocean beaches, and lots more! Be a Life Saver! Donate a pint of blood at the June 24th Blood Drive at the Windmill Club Clubhouse in Howell NJ. Windmill Club residents Denise Deriso and Stephanie Shrifrin have organized a blood drive with the Central Jersey Blood Center. Download a copy of the flyer here. Although this is located in our community, this drive (as all are) is for anyone who can stop by for about 1/2 hour to donate a pint of blood. One bag can save up to 3 lives!! Howell Township, NJ Code Red Notification System. Howell Township, NJ has introduced a community notification system called Code Red. The Code Red system is designed to call enrolled phone numbers with a pre-recorded message for a variety of reasons. Reasons could include: Missing Children; Evacuation Notices; Snow removal alerts; Boil Water Notices; Weather Alerts; and Bio-Terrorism Alerts. Calls to people who have Opted-In will be as neighborhood specific as is appropriate. ActiveRain RainCamp in Washington, DC. It's about a whole lot more than just points... Today was my 2nd RainCamp. I attended in New Your City in January. I learned LOTS, kind of think I've forgotten a bunch, and listened to & met some amazing people. It was an awesome day! I came to RainCamp again Washington, DC today for a refresher. I heard much of the same information andLOTS of new stuff, too. Just as the social media scene and what works changes, so does the RainCamp content. As with the first RainCamp, I've come away again today with a greater appreciation of my potential - (2 comments)
