When Short Sales Make Sense - 10/31/07 01:52 AM
People have told me to stay away from short sales and not to bother with them as a buyer's agent. Well, I've never been one to take advice without trying it first for myself. It's a wonder I've made it this far in life with that attitude, but more times than not my attempts to try the unattemptable pays off. In short sales, I am two for two with my clients. One short sale situation we were able to purchase at $235,000 + closing costs and it appraised for $280,000. Not a bad turnaround. In another, the house appraised at $470,00 (5 comments)

This is amazing! What a great way to stay on top of the real estate market in the Puget Sound area. At www.SolinskyRealty.com you can click on the map and start a search for listings on the MLS just like an agent does. You can even set up your own criteria and have email sent to you when a new listing comes on the market to meet your search needs. Listings are updated every hour so users are able to know what is out there before everyone else. I am so glad I found this tool to help my clients in their (0 comments)
From Coach to Agent - 10/31/07 01:10 AM
Just a year ago, I was teaching junior high PE and coaching football, wrestling, and basketball. Then, Wham! out of nowhere I was presented with the idea of becoming a real estate agent and life has never been the same. As soon as the school year ended, I took vacation time with my family, then dove into the profession. My first newsletter was published in August and now 2 1/2 months later I have closed four transactions with a couple more set to close in the next week.
