Ready – Set – Appraise!
 
When working as a listing agent, one of the hurdles we must jump through after getting the home under contract is the appraisal.  This is always a bit stressful for me.  The Denver Colorado market is very hot right now which means homes are selling for more now than they did in the past five years.  Sellers are enjoying offers at list price and sometimes multiple offers.  That’s all wonderful as long as the home appraises.

What Happens When My House Doesn’t Appraise
 
The real estate market in the Denver, Colorado area seems to be shifting to a seller’s market with the shortage of homes and the increase in buyers.
 
This is great news for sellers, but it doesn’t mean you should over price your listing. 
 
The real estate market is all the news right now in Denver.  This has caused many sellers to have a false sense of worth of their homes.  They argue that inventory is low so why should they “give their house away”.
