Scuba Tank Explodes Killing St. Petersburg Diver
A man carrying a scuba tank into his home died when the tank suddenly exploded. The explosion damaged the home and blew out several windows and the front door. Two witnesses inside the home were shaken but unharmed.
Because scuba tanks require regular visual inspections by qualified professionals, this type of accident is fairly uncommon. An investigation into the cause is pending.
