children: Another day in NC

My children only had a 1/2 day of school today. I came home early and took the kids to the park to take pictures of them for Christmas cards. After that, we went to my grandmothers house to rake leaves. She has gone to a cousins wedding, so we wanted to surprise her. I don't know how much you know about this area, but my grandmother has A LOT of pine trees in her back yard. Most of what we raked up was pine needles. We spent three hours raking pine needles! I have finally finished 2 of my 30 hour post licensing courses that are required by the state of NC. I have one more to go and I start that in December. At first I thought they were going to be a waste of time, but they have turned out to be informative. Some of the "gaps" in the pre licensing class are being filled in. I have started trying to find designations that I want to go after, but I am having a hard time finding ones that I don't have to travel several hours to get to. That is … (1 comments)
