The older we get, the more we become aware that our mortality is looming closer.
In my 20's and 30's, I was invincible. In my 40's I was still invincible on the outside, but inside I was not so sure.
Now, in my mid 50's, I am a the point..."Be careful, I might break!"
Looking at Nature can give us a glimpse of the aging process.
Juicy berries turn to raisin like morsels for the wildlife that never return to their original glory.

Well, I thought I knew the answer to this statement but I really don't.
My wife came down to my office and handed me a card. It was my AARP card. Ok, that is bad enough, but, my card said...VALID MEMBER SINCE: 2001 !!!!
I asked my wife how this could be. She said, well I signed you up when I signed up. (My wife is a bit older than myself.)I was feeling fairly well today, but after she left my office I revised my shopping list for tomorrow...

This is a wonderful poem about aging gracefully. A very touching inner feeling that makes you know that YOU are not alone in this Natural process.
