Tonight it is with heavy hearts that a relative has passed. James Swanson was a jolly guy in his mid 50's. Jim was an avid outdoors man and Deer Hunting was is passion. Sadly, Jim was leaving his stand last night when one of the steps let loose. Jim fell and broke his neck. He didn't survive. Jim was not a careless person. I know he checked his stand out before season with a couple other hunters of his group. They checked all the stands for safety. Sadly, Jim was a very large man, and for what ever reason the step didn't hold up.

Another Tragedy and this time we know where the plane is. The media is throwing out scenarios along with a lot of officials for a lot of countries. I an not going to get into the what where and how's. I just pray for those who lost their lives and for the ones left behind wanting to know why and how. May they have strength in their time of trial.

Last night we took Ray into the hospital. The symptoms were for pneumonia and possibly heart issues. The Ambulance crew was fast and efficient. Today it was confirmed about the heart issues. Ray is 90 with sound mind and great health.
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for strength to Ray, his wife and kids in this difficult time. Give them hope and strength of your Love. Amen! … (12 comments)

My dad as many of you know is handicapped. He is paralized on his left side from a sroke 5 years ago. Trying to be independent is a real challange for him. Today trying to show that he can do things himself, he fell and broke his hip. I was just informed that he will be having surgery in a couple of hours. He is lucky that the hip he broke is on the side that is paralized. We pray for a quick recovery and the skill of the Doctors as they tell us that the break is a nasty one. … (10 comments)
