Like most of you, I am anxciously awaiting spring.  It seems like this past winter lasted forever and there were enough snow storms for this year and next. The following information was sent to me from our in-house Prosperity Mortgage (affiliated with Wells Fargo)  representative, Harry Pecci,  and was taken from the goverment web site.
 
This is from the FHA Gov't Website:   Mortgage insurance premium (MIP) will be increased to build up capital reserves and bring back private lending
