Quakertown Borough and Quakertown Alive are announcing the first phase of the Sweetscape Project, which is designed to improve the appearance of the downtown area of town. The program was funded by the Home Town Streets Program.
The first part of this project has already been started at Triangle Park. They are adding new park benches, a leisure area, new water fountain, and a kiosk. The parking area will also be reconfigured. New trees will be planted, a new decorated wall and pavers, and the flag poles will be lit up.
