Why am I so interested in the Stevenson High school Patriots..?
I am the mother of 3 wonderful boys... My oldest goes to Stevenson High School and my two younger ones are twins and they attend Woodlawn Junior High in Long Grove.    I attend all of  their baseball games, their soccer games and their basketball games.    I support them in everything they do...   
This year one of my sons made the Woodlawn Junior High( a Stevenson High School feeder school) basketball team, and to me the highlights of the game were  watching my son make a basket and watching  the 7th grade cheerleaders perform … (2 comments)

The Sunset Foods in Long Grove is going to officially open tomorrow , January 26th ,and the residents of Long Grove, Buffalo Grove , and the surrounding suburbs cannot wait.  We will finally will get the Sunset we have been anxiously awaitng.
Sunset Foods in Long Grove will  open at 7:00 January 26th and I heard that a few excited residents were camping out... (only kidding of course).  If you haven't heard about what the Long Grove Sunset Store will offer, let me just give you the highlights... Its very exciting....

Climbing to the top of the Aon building to help the Kidss for kids organization. - 01/18/09 12:46 PM
My family is going to attempt  to  climb to the top of Chicago's second tallest building at the 12th Annual Kohl's Step Up for Kids to raise money for the patients and families at Children's Memorial Hospital.   I'm sure my husband and sons are all going to do fine, but I'm a little scared that I wion't be able to do it. (that's why I have been training for it for at least a week)
Donations received through this event support the fundraising efforts of K.I.D.S.S. for Kids, an Affiliated Organization of Children's Memorial Hospital and the largest donor to the hospital's Family Services Department. … (3 comments)

How did the Buffalo Grove Illinois real estate market perform  in 2008 compared to 2007?
   If you compare average selling price of homes in 2007 versus 2008, there was only an approximately 4% decrease in average selling price of homes in Buffalo Grove.  Additionally, it only took people on average 20 additional days to sell their home in 2008 versus 2007.  In 2007 it took on average 120 days to sell a home in Buffalo Grove  and in 2008, the average market time in Buffalo Grove was 140 days.
