I saw the Buffalo Grove Park Distict performance of West Side Story last night and it was simply spectacular! My niece Annie played the character Anita and I thought she did an awesome job.
Don't miss this wonderful performance! The actresses and actors ranging from 6th graders to seniors in High School were all just magnificent. As I look outside at my backyard covered with snow, approximately 14 inches, I am starting to get the itch to get out on the golf course and hit my golf clubs. Unfortunately, I'm looking at least two months plus until I can get onto a golf course here in the Chicago area. (First the snow needs to melt)

Great news! There are real signs finally that the Vernon Hills real estate prices are on the upswing. The median Vernon Hills Sales Price in January was $247,500, up 11.2% from $222,500 in January of 2009 and up 3.1% from $240,000 last month. The average Vernon Hills Sales Price in January was $275,808, up 15.7% from $238,381 in January of 2009 and up 9.8% from $251,146 last month.

As I mentioned in one of my recent posts, the number of Buffalo Grove home sales in 2010 was two times the number of sales in 2009. There is also encouraging news to report about the increase in the Buffalo Grove Median Sales Price and Buffalo Grove Average Sales Price.
