Prairie House located in Buffalo Grove Illinois is one of my favorite local Buffalo Grove restaurants. 
My husband and I along with many of our friends frequent Prairie House on Friday nights after our children's sporting  events and other plans.  The owners, managers and  waitresses all are extremely friendly and accomodating.  Whether we request a table of 5, 10 or even 15, they make every effort to seat us within minutes.  They even sometimes know our orders before we arrive.  Its like going to Cheers in Boston...

There are many wonderful subdivisions to live in Vernon Hills.  Grosse Point Village, located on Route 83 and 45 is a wonderful family neighborhood built in the late 1980's.   The sizes of the single family homes range from roughly 2300 to 3200 square feet.   Grosse Pointe Village is conveniently located to schools, shopping and places of worship.
