Spotlight is put on several Idaho Builders today who made bad decisions.
Today in the Idaho Statesman, several Idaho Builders were mentioned and the lawsuits against them. On a personal note I have had personal experience with one of them that I won't mention and it just amazes me how a guy with a reputataion that I found out about 7 years ago and continues to screw people can still do business in the area?

e best is relative, being credible is relative to being the best.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to rate and rank a local business based on performance and service when it is completely determined by opinions and people's perspective which are difficult to compare and evaluate. What company delivers the best product, at the best price, with the best service? They all 'feel' they do, otherwise, they would not be in business. But after months of focus groups, advisory boards and meetings it has become obvious that  the best is a relative concept.

2008 Canyon County Fall Home Show - 09/30/08 06:15 PM
Looking for ideas or shopping for local professionals? Check out the Canyon COunty home show this weekend. It is at the Idaho Center in Nampa near the AutoMall off I-84. The show is filled with local vendors and is normally a place to get some ideas. There are not many contractors, normally just retail booths. Check it out and have a great time. I will be there but not as a booth.

What is going on with EAGLE homes for sale? According to Intermountain MLS, Ada County CURRENTLY has approx 1063 newly constructed residential listings. August alone saw approx 130 newly constructed homes SOLD in Ada County....this reflects an average price of $237,699.......EAGLE has sold 4 of those 130 newly constructed homes with an average price of $653,350 (median price is $850,000)...this is a little over 3% of the total market.
