A successful home showing depends on the preparation made by you and your seller.  In this kind of business, we need to prepare the seller, ask for their cooperation and let them understand how important home showing is.

Persuade the seller to keep the house in good showing condition.  Buyers appreciate houses that are clean.

Real estate agents do try to make it on time together with their buyers. But sometimes delay occurs.  Buyers might arrive late for their appointment for a lot of reasons.  Hopefully, your sellers are away from the residence in expectation of the viewing.  … (1 comments)

Real Estate Mistakes! - 06/20/12 09:57 AM

Here are my top 5 lists of biggest mistakes in Real Estate.
5.      Buying a Home because the Decorations are Beautiful!
You are buying a home, not the decorations or anything inside the house.  Look at the structure of the house, the floor plan and square footage.  Also consider the dimensions of the house and check how that’s going to work with your belongings.
4.      Waiting for the Right Weather.
You don’t need to wait for the right weather to put your house on the market.      No matter what the season is, there are a … (1 comments)

How To Refuse A Client - 06/18/12 07:34 AM
There are numerous reasons why one would refuse a client; don’t have enough time, conflicts, moral principles, small pay.

So here are the things that you should do to refuse a client.

When turning down a client, you should always try to be respectful and to the point.  Sometimes a simple and straight statement is enough.  If this client is a good one, you can refer him to other trusted source.

Be honest.  Tell them the real reason why you can’t work with him.   And prepare yourself for any counteroffers the client will say if you refuse.

Things Life Is Too Short To Tolerate - 06/11/12 06:11 AM

You have a choice. Choose positive, smiling, laughing. Life is too short for the alternative. - Joanne Bishop

People who bring you down. – Relationships should help you, not hurt you.  Spend time with nice people who are smart, driven and likeminded.
A work environment or career field you hate. – Don’t settle on the first or second career field you dabble in.  Keep searching.  Eventually you will find work you love to do.  If you catch yourself working hard and loving every minute of it, don’t stop.  You’re on to something big.  Because hard work ain’t hard … (3 comments)

Wrong Flower! - 06/06/12 07:25 AM

I found this funny short story and can't help but to share it here.  I hope it will make your day too.

A client bought a new home and the broker wanted to send flowers for the occasion. They arrived at the home and the owner read the card; it said "Rest in Peace". The owner was angry and called the florist to complain. After he had told the florist of the obvious mistake and how angry he was, the florist said.
