Atlantic Salmon Jump Here! - 07/28/11 11:44 AM
Atlantic Salmon Jump Here! I recently visited Grand Falls Newfoundland, home of the Exploits River. The Exploits is a salmon river and as you drive along the river you can see anglers patiently trying to hook one. Every summer thousands of salmon make the trip back to spawn in the interior of Newfoundland.

Real Estate Recovery - The Ten Best Things About LaHave, Nova Scotia - 07/26/11 12:51 PM
The Ten Best Things About LaHave, Nova Scotia. I have been living in LaHave Nova Scotia for over thirteen years. It is a beautiful little village that follows the LaHave River and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a fabulous place to live in Lunenburg County on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

Time for a Web Site Upgrade - 07/25/11 01:23 PM
Time for a Web Site Upgrade. A year ago, I decided I needed a web site. I had no idea what it should look like or how people would find it. So, I bought a template web site and learned how to add pages and photos and content. I don't think it has given me the contacts that I need to get from it.

I discovered Activerain and have learned about SEO, Activerain Blogging and Outside Blogging. I know a lot more now than I did a year ago. Most of it I learned from the Activerain Comminuity - You … (9 comments)

Pay it Forward. How often should you make your clients bed? - 07/17/11 06:58 PM
Pay it Forward. How often should you make your clients bed? I got a call from a buyer agent on Saturday morning. Her client wanted to see one of my listings. They gave us an hour and a half notice. I called my client. She was having a garage sale and packing up boxes. Needless to say, the timing was not good. I tried to get the agent to give us an additional hour before the showing. She couldn't, because they would be out of our area by then.

I dropped what I was doing, jumped in my car and got myself to … (12 comments)

Only 23% to 44% of listings in my area have sold over the past year. - 07/12/11 02:10 PM
Only 23% to 44% of listings in my area have sold over the past year. Local real estate statistics are showing that only 23% to 44% of listed homes have sold in the past year. Home owners have an uphill battle to sell in this environment. Buyers are looking for well designed and well staged homes. Homes that do not show well are at a disadvantage. So if you want to sell your South Shore, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia home here are some things to keep in mind.

Your home will show better if you;
